RICK MAXON
ISLAND BOATHOUSE
Designed for small boat moorage, shelter and storage, this project is located on a remote island in Georgian Bay, Ontario, Canada. Built almost entirely by hand, the unique structural frame suspends the building over a small inlet. The project was an award winner in the Architectural League's Young Architects Competition of 1985 with
a jury led by Frank Gehry.
